Before diving into specifics, here is an overall picture of what this breed is like. Originating in Cuba, this petite, small muzzled puppies were so loved by Cubans that it became their national dog. They weigh around fourteen pounds and also are listed under the toy breed category. It is a great size dog for those in smaller size apartments.

Their fur comes in black and white or pure white colors. In order to maintain a healthy look, they need to be brushed every day or every other day, and the hair surrounding their eyes should not be trimmed. Their hair is used to give them protection for the sun.

For those that are not made of money, this can sometimes be an issue. This specific breed ranges from four hundred to more than a grand. The price has such a wide range because some of them have already had certain immunizations and vaccinations. Do a lot of research and check what the average breeder in the area is asking for.

Because they enjoy cuddling aim to please their master, these dogs are loved by many. Because they do have so much energy, they need to be exercised regularly.
