Using Daily Affirmations

By Jeremy Schultz

The much more man meditates upon good thoughts, the far better will be his world and the planet at large. ~ Confucius How do you respond when somebody tells you something you know is not true? Don't you speak back? "Now, wait a minute that is not right! Let me tell you..." Or when a buddy says some thing you disagree with, are not you swift to voice your viewpoint? Possibly a conversation turns heated. Aren't you fast to speak back, defending your point of view?

And, of course when we were teens, we back-talked to our parents and those in authority, expressing our private opinions as absolute truth! So, why do not you talk back to your self? Your spiritual power is as robust and limitless as your Father, God's. All you have to do is agree with His Words to reap His outcomes. That is what faith is all about.

God declared that we are made in His image soon after His likeness, and [we] have dominion (Gen. 1:26). The Bible teaches that faith comes by hearing - so what are you listening to? What are you telling yourself... that you shouldn't be? Listen to yourself. Picture these scenarios.

Your bills talk to you, telling you that you don't have sufficient. Sometimes they even scream. Talk back! My God supplies all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. My cup runs more than! I have all sufficiency in all issues. (Phil. four:19) Ps. 23:8 2 Cor. 9:8) Your body is telling you exactly where it hurts and you want to tell absolutely everyone how you really feel. Talk back to yourself rather. God restores my well being and heals me. By Jesus' stripes I was [currently] healed (Jer. 30:17 two Peter 2:24).

You're in the midst of a mess, and don't know what to do. Instead of listening to the merry-go-round of negative self-talk, talk back! Tell yourself, Jesus is created unto me wisdom... God gives me wisdom. I hear His voice. (I Cor. 1:30 Prov. two:6 John ten:27). You're exhausted, but you nonetheless have a complete To Do list.
