I first found out about "The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace D. Wattles a few years ago. I downloaded this almost 100 year old classic in pdf format, and read it in one sitting. It is less than 100 pages and is easy reading, so this was certainly no task.Shortly after reading this short classic, the movie "The Secret" was released on dvd. "The Secret" of course, went into depth about the Law of Attraction and how what you think about, is what you bring into your life. Interestingly enough, it took me a few months to realize the relationship.
If you watched "The Secret" and remember the first scene, Rhonda Byrne is talking about how she received a small book from her daughter that turned her life around. That book, as I later found out, was "The Science of Getting Rich". This is the little book which changed her life.
Furthermore, the science of getting rich does not entail that the possession of skills, talents, and abilities are assurances that you can become rich and successful. If we are to observe our environment, we would be able to see that many individuals who possess greater talents and abilities remain to be poor. While those who are only average in all respects get rich.This is so because those who happen to have average talents and abilities are doing things in certain ways. In addition to, being thrifty does not guarantee that you will become rich. Many thrifty people are poor while those who are free spenders often get rich.
Look at your current skill set and the things you are passionate about in life. These are great clues to help you understand what you can do to become rich.What can you do to be of service to people? How can you make a positive difference in the world? What could you do to make you feel you deserve to be rich?Once you can pinpoint this you can start to move towards setting things in place to work towards creating true riches in your life.Notice I say "true riches" here ~ when you are doing something you love and helping others the money will come naturally this is the true meaning of being rich in life.
Wattles points out that often, in many professions, especially helping professions like teaching, medicine, and ministry, those involved go about it all wrong. Instead of helping others reach a new level, they simply create more of what they are trying to get rid of.Teaching breeds more ignorance, medicine brings more disease, and ministry brings more sin. When Visualization and Affirmations Don't Work.There is a science to visualization and affirmations that most people don't get. You can add mental and spiritual power towards your visualization and affirmations to increase its power. Many of those techniques are quite ancient and practiced in many mystery schools. Few people take the time to go beyond the basics of the law of attraction to learn those powerful techniques that get astounding results.There is a Science to Everything in Nature.To master life you must learn the rules and the law of attraction as well as the development of the mind is crucial to living a successful life. If you find yourself failing again and again it is because you have not dedicated yourself to fully understanding the right techniques to getting results.It's not enough to just know about the law of attraction. Everyone who follows these instructions to the letter will get rich.The key here is in focus. If you focus on disease, you invite in more disease. The focus instead should be health and healing.
If you focus on sin, you only get more sin. Ministers need to teach what Jesus was trying to tell us: that the truth would set us free. Jesus said his "yoke was easy, and his burden was light." By applying this truth to our lives, it allows us to get out from underneath all of the lies and misinformation that is often dispensed.Don't forgive, take revenge, or impose your will on others to get what you want. These are all lies we've suffered from, and they've only created more misery and pain for everyone.Do your work every day and do it in a successful manner.Again, it's about focus. If you're not focused on taking those steps that will help you become a success, and you're not doing those things that will help you become a success, you won't succeed.If you are in business for yourself, ask yourself every day: "Is the task I am about to do going to contribute to the overall success of my business?" If the answer is no, then you're wasting your time.
Some experiments performed with several species of houseplants in the 1970s found a correlation between the aural surroundings and growth characteristics as observed by growth characteristics and EEG equipment. Subsequent experiments found that threatening harm to the plant itself, another plant, or even just thinking about it caused a dramatic response is EEG activity. Thought about the plant, and especially visualization of a thriving plant by a human subject causes increased growth rates and overall plant health. Again, distance did not affect the outcome.
